Disasters on the land is an original acrylic painting on Masonite board painted in response to the waves of misfortune and folly seen during the Pandemic. I hope the image speaks for itself, and that better days lie ahead. I am sure I was influenced by looking at a lot of Goya’s etchings for research and feeling forebodings of whatever would roll up next, a procession of plagues and angry divinities coming down from a stormy sky.
