A print in archival ink on artist quality watercolour paper from an original collage painting .

The image shows Persephone abducted to the underworld by Hades, King of the Dead, the origin myth of our seasons and of various fertility religions in the Ancient World. The details in the collage are taken from Frederik Ruysch's Thesaurus Anatomicus, the etchings of the skeletal sculpture centrepieces of his collection, a new edition of which is for sale from @morbidanatomy (details soon!) with an essay and etchings by myself among others you may know!

Print available in two sizes - original, 10 x 8inches, and large, 15 x 12 inches.
